The iQ-Multispectral device uses the narrowband light source method. As previously stated, this device is based on iQ-LED technology and has 19 channels in the visible range and 11 additional channels in the VIS-IR range. It also contains one UV LED.
The iQ-Multispectral therefore covers the spectral range between 380 nm and 1050 nm. In addition, the UV LEDs (at 365 nm) uses a bandpass filter to block out any light in the visible range.
The setup of the device is very much the same as that of a typical reprographic stand. You can combine the solution with any holder or book cradle that allows the integration of a standard light source. Our solution builds on the Kaiser reprographic system (you have the option to buy the lights separately without a stand and use a custom stand or setup) and is designed for original paper sizes up to A2. Please be aware that the light sources and the stand are sold separately.
The device is delivered with the iQ-LED control software for complete control over the illumination. With this software, you can generate specific spectral distributions of the light (e.g., daylight or tungsten) and use it for standard reprographic applications or you can activate single channels for multispectral applications and store them for future use. You can also create fully automated sequences with selectable time intervals.
We offer an optional advanced programming interface (iQ-LED API) for integrating the system into custom software.
